We are expanding our orchard to include many delicious fruits, vegetables and a variety of berries, powdered spice rubs, jams and jellies, beeswax candles, 100 % pure maple syrup, delicious high quality healthy loose teas and nature inspired honey infused pampering bath and skin care products. Straight From The Farm
Sunny Hive Orchard aims to help all of our clients live the healthiest lives they can and also offer delicious and natural products for purchase straight from our own orchard/apiary. The products we sell are straight from nature and prepared with love and care. We put time into harvesting and packaging the items we sell and treat our customers as we would want to be treated. Our honeybees are well cared for. Our hives are located amongst many different fruit trees, a variety of berries and grape vines. These are the things that our bees are pollinating so this results in delicious honey! We use all high quality Apimaye hives and we are state inspected responsible beekeepers.

Do you own a store, winery, gym, tea room, coffee house or restaurant and would you like to sell our items or include them in your menu?
We would love to partner with you! You must show proof of business ownership or affiliation before wholesale pricing will be discussed. We also can do consignments as well. We love branching out and offering our products to as many people as we can.

Our Story
How We Got Our Start
Sunny Hive Orchard in rural northeast Ohio was just a dream in 2019 and then we purchased our first set of beehives and honeybees in 2020. From there we have only grown and expanded as we have planted many fruit trees, berries, grapes, vegetables and have learned how to tap our maple trees to include pure maple syrup to our selection of delicious items that we offer. Sunny Hive Orchard is ran by owners Doug & Cathi Swiney. We purchased our rural property which was just an empty field in 2004 and have worked together as a team in building our homestead all on our own with our own two hands. It is still a work in progress and has been a tremendous amount of work but has proven to become a wonderful place where we have raised 3 amazing children and have worked hard on our property to create an orchard and a beautiful place to grow and produce many edible foods. Our honeybees enjoy the many fruit trees and elderberry, raspberry and blackberry plants on our farm. Our honey is very delicious and we credit that to all of the wonderful things that our bees are pollinating on our land.
